BERNADETTE M. SOHLER joined Middlesex Water in 1994, was named Director of Communications in 2003 and Vice President-Corporate Affairs in 2007. Ms. Sohler has more than 25 years of experience in providing strategic communications counsel in the utilities and financial sectors. She oversees corporate communications and investor relations, stakeholder engagement, government relations and media relations, digital marketing, corporate philanthropy and community relations. Prior to joining Middlesex she held marketing management positions in the financial services industry.
Ms. Sohler is Chair of the New Jersey Utilities Association Communications Committee, a 2007 Leadership NJ graduate and serves in a leadership capacity on numerous industry and community boards. She has been recognized as a Leading Woman Intrapreneur & Corporate Leader, one of New Jersey’s 50 Best Women in Business and by Executive Women of New Jersey. Ms. Sohler earned her M.A. in Public Communication from Fordham University and her B.A. from Seton Hall University.
