At its January 30, 2014 meeting, the Board of Directors of Middlesex Water Company (the "Company") declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.19 per common share payable on March 3, 2014 for shareholders of record as of February 14, 2014. A copy of the press release announcing the dividend declaration is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated into this Form 8-K by reference.

Middlesex Water Company ANNOUNCES

QUARTERLY CASH DIVIDEND

 

ISELIN, NJ January 31, 2014 -- Middlesex Water Company (NASDAQ: MSEX) today announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.19 per common share payable on March 3, 2014, for shareholders of record as of February 14, 2014. The Company has paid cash dividends in varying amounts continually since 1912 and has increased its dividend for 41 consecutive years.
