On July 24, 2018, the Board of Directors of Middlesex Water Company (the "Company") declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.22375 per common share payable on September 4, 2018 for shareholders of record as of August 15, 2018. A copy of the press release announcing the dividend declaration is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated into this Form 8-K by reference.

Middlesex Water Company DECLARES

QUARTERLY CASH DIVIDEND

 

ISELIN, NJ July 26, 2018 -- Middlesex Water Company (NASDAQ:MSEX) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend of $0.22375 per share of its common stock payable on September 4, 2018 to holders of record as of August 15, 2018. Middlesex Water has paid cash dividends in varying amounts continually since 1912 and has increased its annual dividend rate for 45 consecutive years.
